We’re thrilled you’ve decided to experience CrossFit! Below you’ll find the steps to begin training at CrossFit Anaerobic in Rancho Santa Margarita or Laguna Niguel. Free Intro Class
To begin training at CrossFit Anaerobic, we’d like to invite you to come in for a free hour-long introductory session to see our facilities, introduce ourselves and explain a little more about what we do. You will also be put through a modified workout so we can see how you move. We will talk with you to better understand your short & long-term fitness goals, and outline how CrossFit and some Nutritional Guidance can help you meet and even surpass those goals.

OnRamp Intro Program
Once you sign up following your Free Intro Class, you will begin the OnRamp Intro Program. OnRamp is a 6-class introductory program that starts every Monday and lasts 2 weeks, with mandatory classes 3 times a week on Monday, Wednesday & Friday. This is a comprehensive course designed to introduce the CrossFit movements and workouts we do on a daily basis. You must attend the OnRamp Introductory Course before you are eligible for regular classes, unless you have previous experience.

Following are the class times you can choose from on Monday, Wednesday & Friday:

Rancho Santa Margarita
Monday – Wednesday – Friday
Mornings 6:30am 8:30am
Afternoons 5:30pm
Laguna Niguel
Monday – Wednesday – Friday
Mornings 6:30am 9:30am
Afternoons 5:30pm

We highly recommend that new members come to the same class time for each of their OnRamp sessions so they can work with the same trainer and get to know their fellow OnRampers.

We also have an available 10:00AM Saturday Class for people who need to make up classes they miss or for people who want further OnRamp instruction. Once you’re done with your 6-session, 2-week OnRamp Introductory course, you will be free to come to any class on the schedule as much as you want. Learn more about the OnRamp Introductory Program.

GET FIT.
Here we go… Time to start living your life to the fittest. Work Hard. Form follows function and intensity drives adaptation. What does that mean? The harder you work, the better your body will look. Effort is more important than any other attribute. Don’t be embarrassed or ashamed if you can’t lift as much or perform as well as other members. It doesn’t matter so long as you push the envelope each and every time. Check out our Gym Rules for more tips like this.

Previous CrossFit Experience?
If you have previous CrossFit experience, you may bypass the OnRamp Intro Program by passing a brief competency test. The assessment will allow us to evaluate you on your proficiency at the following lifts & movements:

Olympic Lifts Movements
  • Back Squat
  • Deadlift
  • Thruster
  • Power Clean
  • Power Snatch
  • KettleBell Swing
  • DBall Slam
  • Pullup
  • Box Jump
